In Loving Memory of Sue Coates
"Love early, Love always, and don't waste a second of time waiting for tomorrow. Time is one thing money can't buy. Every minute that passes cannot be had again. I wish I could go back in time and make more minutes count. We both made mistakes at one point that pulled us apart for a few months 8 years ago. After that no more time was wasted. Marry your best friend and live the life you have to its fullest together. There are no seconds takes or do-overs. Life is an adventure, live it to its fullest. Rest in Peace my beautiful wife."

Mary was born on June 8, 1956 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI to Robert and Ruth (Beedle) Moss. Mary attended Our Lady Queen of Heaven and Assumption High School before earning her Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Nursing. She used her degree to become a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner in Pediatrics and the Pediatric ICU before going back to school to earn her Doctoral degree in health care education. Mary served as the Associate Dean of Nursing at Mid-State Technical College for the remainder of her career, and loved sharing her passion for nursing with all of her students. Her passion for nursing further led her to being a member of the Nurses Honor Guard, a Nursing Education Accreditation Consultant, and a member of the National Evaluation of Nursing Program for more than 15 years. Mary loved being a nurse. It was part of who she was as a person.
Mary was a very selfless person, and took great pride in being a foster parent for children in need. Mary was very active in volunteering throughout her community. She was on the board for the United Way and United Way Women, Park Place Adult Day Care Services, Oxford House, and Women’s House. She was also on the OLQH Pastoral Council and was the head of the Social Justice Committee.
The world will never be the same without her.
